Time tellers

The learners enthusiastically participated in a hands-on activity, “Time Tellers,” using handmade clock. The teacher called out different times, and the learners moved the hands of their clocks to show the correct time. Through this engaging activity, they developed their time-reading skills, improved their understanding of clock hands, and learned to read time in a fun and interactive way.

Small coins...Big Dreams

An activity was conducted on the unit Money using cents and dollars. Students sorted coins and notes from the smallest value to the greatest and vice versa. They were also given different amounts and asked to make the required amounts using the given cents and dollars, strengthening their understanding of money and denominations.

Adding on Number line Activity

Jumping into Addition on the Number Line! 🔢✨ Adding numbers became a fun and interactive learning experience in our class through an exciting Number Line Activity. A number line was drawn, and students learned that addition means moving forward by taking jumps. For example, to solve 5 + 2, a student stood on number 5 and made two forward jumps, landing on 7.

The venn brain challenge

As part of the chapter Statistical Methods and Chance, students enthusiastically participated in the Venn Brain Challenge. A pot filled with numbered slips was used, and each student picked a number and placed it in the correct section of the Venn diagram. The two categories were odd numbers and multiples of 5. This engaging hands-on activity helped students strengthen their understanding of number patterns, classification, logical reasoning, and the concept of Venn diagrams in a fun and interactive way.
